PARENT BOOK CLUB

Facilitated by Amie Anderson

What exactly is a “progressive education” anyway?

This is a group for anyone who wants to read about and discuss schooling, modern science about children, human nature and psychology, and the challenges of raising children today. Selections may include books about the history of schools, recent research about preschool-aged children, sex education, the nuances of raising children within one gender or another, and more! Reading suggestions welcome. We are committed to selecting only books that are approachable and either short or available in an audio format.

Contact Amie@manitouschool.org with the subject line “parent book club”.

Open to the wider community of parents and educators.
